Lakshmipur road division was formed in 1993. In the past, it was a subdivision under Noakhali Road Division. Lakshmipur Road Division office is situated at 2 km south of Lakshmipur-Ramgati road in the place called Laharkandi, near the Deputy Commissioner's Office. There are two sub-sections under this road division. Sub-Division 2,  Lakshmipur road sub-division and Ramganj road sub-division. Roads of Lakshmipur Sadar, Komal Nagar and Ramgati upazilas are under the subdivision of Lakshmipur road and the roads of Raipur and Ramganj upazilas are under Ramganj road sub-division. There are 262 kilometers of roads and highways on 22 roads under this road division. Of which, the national highway is 10.50 km, the regional highway 61.00 km and the district road 233.50 km. The main work of this road division is to maintain roads, bridges, culverts and maintenance and to maintain road network and to maintain communication.
